Joe and Tiffany met about fifteen years ago when they were kids in elementary school. They shared many special memories growing up together-- like playing kickball with friends on warm, sunny Georgia days.

After elementary school, Joe and his family relocated to Thomasville, Georgia. Although the two were physically separated at this point they would forever remain friends. For a number of years they had no contact with each other: they had lost touch. But after seven years, the two friends re-connected when, by chance, their high schools played each other in a football state championship game.

When the game ended, they stood in astonishment only ten feet apart, staring at each other. For both of them this moment felt like an illusion, because Joe had no idea Tiffany was a cheerleader at Jonesboro High, and Tiffany had no idea that Joe was a football player at Thomas County Central. They quickly exchanged information and promised each other that they would stay in touch.

It wasn't more than two years later that the two arrived at Georgia Tech. Joe proposed to Tiffany on November 11, 2002 in Atlanta. And you know the rest . . . now they are beginning a joyous journey together.
