Are you a student who is interested in participating in active discussion with other students, industry leaders, and faculty? Joining Executive Round Table is an organization gives you that opportunity not only at every meeting, but through relationships developed in the program.

Students comprise 50% of ERT's membership, and looks for students who are well rounded, energetic, and interested in expressing their opinions on different topics. ERT's main focus is placed on the dinner meetings, which are roughly once a month. At these dinner meetings, students are given a chance to interact with faculty and industry members and also given a chance to give their viewpoint on certain topics provoked by the speaker.

ERT especially wants to bring a diverse group of student members to the table, including those who have different majors, different backgrounds, and different ideas. Executive Round Table relies greatly on student members and encourages them to think about various situations given to them.

In addition to dinner meetings, student members are highly encouraged to attend the annual Student, Faculty, and Industry Conference held every spring. This is a weekend filled with fun and excitement, and it is a time to get to know the other members of ERT on a more casual level. It is definitely a highlight of the year!

Students may benefit greatly from participating in ERT. It offers its student members background knowledge on the "real world" -- learned first hand from the faculty and industry members at dinner meetings. It also challenges students to expand their minds discussing a myriad of topics, some of which the students may never discuss otherwise.

Student membership drives are held once a year in the fall. Check this web site in September 2002 for more information.
